In Green Garden Township, a special use permit was granted to Maria and Felipe Valladares to operate a landscaping and lawn maintenance business on their 5-acre agricultural property at 9003 W. Stuenkel Road. According to planning documents, the owners received nine letters of support from neighbors, and the Green Garden Township board had no objections to the permit. All three applications had previously received unanimous recommendations for approval from the Will County Planning and Zoning Commission and the county’s Land Use and Development Committee before the final vote by the full board.
